Hello, nice to meet you here! We offer our one bedroom apartment in Antibes to friends, friends of friends and nice people. Let me say first of all, we live in this apartment, but not all the time. And since Antibes is really a nice place, it would be a pity to leave it empty when we are not there.

Location

Our newly renovated apartment is located in the heart of Antibes. It's a 45m2 one bedroom apartment with a fantastic sunny terrace of 25m2 (and the sun shines most of the time). The apartment is at the 8th and top floor with a nice view. From the terrace you see over the roofs to the Cap d'Antibes lighthouse. From the kitchen and the bedroom you can see the Alps and the coast of Italy. Address: 3 Boulevard Maréchal Foch, 06600 Antibes.

Furnishing and equipment

The pure, modern designed apartment is equipped with everything that is important to us: A good bed (160x200) with a high-quality matress in the bedroom; a modern new bathroom; a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and a washing machine; a convertible sofa in the living room is wide enough for two people. Air conditioning cools the rooms in summer. Bed linen, bath and beach towels are provided. Internet and wifi is available, a streaming box provides music. The terrace is beautifully planted with oleander, bougainvillea, lemon tree, hibiscus, and many others. A large awning provides shade at the hottest times of the day. A plancha installed on the terrace to enjoy your BBQ (fresh vegetables, fish and meat can be bought in the neighbourhood). When the weather permits, you can enjoy lunch outside, even in winter. Antibes has beatiful sandy beaches and a stunning old city. Both are just a 10-minutes walk away. In the neighbourhood you find many shops and two supermarkets.

Getting to Antibes

From Nice airport you can easily go to Antibes by train or bus . If you are arriving by car, you can leave the car in one of the two car parks in the immediate vicinity: Parking Médiathèque and Parking Q-Park Frères Olivier. Both offer weekly rates. Public transport on the French Riviera is efficient, reliable and cheap and ideal to discover the cities along the cost such as Cannes, Monaco, Villefranche or Menton. And if you have to go work at Sophia Antipolis (like Peter) you can commute by bus. There are three bus lines from Antibes to Sophia Antipolis. The bus station is a three-minutes walk away.

Things to do in Antibes and beyond
One of our favorite things to do in Antibes is to start the day with a swim in the sea at Gravette beach, then enjoying a cup of coffee in the old town. We also like the coastal hike around the spectacular Cap d'Antibes peninsula (closed in poor weather conditions). There are fantastic places to go: Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Menton, Sanremo, the mountains (in one hour by car you are in high mountain regions!), to mention just a few. If you are interested in culture, you would certainly like to see the Fondation Maeght in Saint Paul de Vence and the MAMAC in Nice. The Picasso Museum in Antibes is also worth a visit. There are so many things to do and of course great food and wine to be tasted!
